University Entrance Scholarship for High School Students
The University Entrance Scholarship program provides guaranteed renewable scholarships to incoming high school students who present a minimum award average of 75%. Scholarships vary in value according to the applicant’s award average. Scholarship recipients are identified through the admission process when an application for admission for a September start is received by the April 1st deadline. For those who plan to start in January, an application for admission must be submitted by August 1st.

Athletic Awards
The Financial Aid and Awards office works closely with Concordia University of Edmonton’s Athletics Department to provide award opportunities for student athletes. Prospective athletes are encouraged to contact the Athletics Director for more information. Check out our scholarship listing to see what’s available.
Other Entrance Awards
Through the generosity of our donors, Concordia University of Edmonton is able to offer additional entrance awards. Concordia identifies recipients in September. No separate scholarship application is required.

Alexander Rutherford Scholarship
The Alexander Rutherford Scholarship recognizes and rewards academic achievement of senior high school students and encourages them to pursue post-secondary studies. Students who have attended high school in Alberta apply through Alberta Student Aid in August once they have been accepted to their post-secondary institution and are registered in full-time studies.
