We understand that there may be instances where medical exemptions may be required. Exemptions from the policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Vice President Student Life and Learning.
The burning of cultural medicines, such as those within Indigenous pipe ceremonies and smudges, are permitted, when burned safely and in compliance with applicable legislation and standards within the Indigenous Knowledge and Research Centre.
Any other considerations must be reviewed by the Vice President Student Life and Learning.
