Religious Studies is an intellectual, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary inquiry into an important dimension of the human condition and experience through the exploration of religion. At Concordia, you have the opportunity of studying the world’s religions and Christianity, the dominant religion of Western culture, as the bases to such disciplines as Philosophy, History, Sociology, Psychology, and Art. Areas of study include surveys of world religions, Biblical Studies, Christian history and traditions, themes in world religions, theology, and ethics.
A Religious Studies minor contributes to preparing students for a wide range of careers in education, law, Christian ministry, social work, journalism, and politics.
See the Academic Calendar for further information about this Minor.
