Liesel Hack
Sessional Instructor, Department of Psychology
Liesel Hack is a registered social worker with a bachelor’s and Master of Social Work degree with 15+ years of experience working in the field of sexual and reproductive health.
During her Social Work career, Liesel has also helped plan and facilitate educational workshops for organizations such as Medical Students for Choice and the Canadian Symposium on Family Planning and run workshops for local agencies such as AIWCC (Alberta Immigrant Women and Children Centre).
Liesel’s primary focus in her social work career is to educate, empower, and promote positive and healthy sexuality for all. Liesel is currently a practicing Social Worker at Woman’s Health Options, where she has worked for 17 years, and is also a sessional instructor at Concordia University of Edmonton in the Faculty of Arts, where she can continue to share her knowledge and passion for sex positive human sexuality education.
