Dr. Glynnis Lieb
Sessional Instructor, Department of Psychology
Dr Glynnis Lieb is the Executive Director of Fyrefly Institute for Sexual and Gender Diversity, housed in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta.
Glynnis holds a PhD in Personality and Social Psychology from the University of Manitoba. She has worked in human services, addiction and mental health for over two decades, and has held sessional instructor positions at six institutions across Manitoba and Alberta.
She has received the King’s Coronation (2024) and a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Award (2022) for her activism for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights.
Glynnis also has been actively involved in organized labour for many years.
