Chinese Government Scholarship 

1+2+1 Dual Degrees Students in Management can apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship for support. Each year, the Government of China provides a number of scholarships enabling residents of Alberta to study in China. Five full and ten partial scholarships are available annually. A Chinese Government Scholarship full scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance. IBS BFSU – CUE Jeffrey Fitzner Scholarship 

The IBS BFSU – CUE Jeffrey Fitzner Scholarship scholarship is available for CUE 1+2+1 Dual Degrees students during their studies at Beijing Foreign Studies University, Beijing, China. It was launched in 2021-2022 during the COVID-19 pandemic, generously donated by Mr. Jeffrey Fitzner; a dedicated and caring instructor in the Faculty of Management at CUE. BFSU has contributed matching funds.

Mr. Fitzner has taught in university business programs for more than five years, and brings to his classes more than 30 years of corporate, senior leadership experience, spanning three continents. As an instructor, Mr. Fitzner has taught Accounting coursework in graduate and undergraduate degree programs. Jeff has also taught coursework in Finance, Business Law, Human Resource Management, Innovation, Business Fundamentals, Information Systems Management, Computer Applications, and Business Mathematics. Outside of the University, Mr. Fitzner has been retained by education and business organizations to teach corporate governance, leadership, and workforce development. Having worked and resided in China, Jeff maintains a passion for international business and is participating with the Faculty of Management on other international projects, including MOOC projects with China and COIL (Collaborative Online Intercultural/International Learning) projects with Europe.
