English Language Requirements for Graduate Studies
Application Process
Applications are processed through ApplyAlberta. Visit the site to create an Alberta.ca account and complete your application. Here is a short tutorial explaining how to create an Alberta.ca account. You will also find instructional videos explaining how to complete the application while navigating the Apply Alberta pages.
Submit Application Documents
Applicable academic transcripts and documentation are due by the deadlines indicated in the academic calendar. Concordia University of Edmonton can request official transcripts on your behalf from institutions in Alberta that subscribe to the transcript request service through ApplyAlberta.

Application Assessment
Typically, your application will take 4-6 weeks to process. An Admission Advisor will contact you by email or phone throughout the application process. Your prompt response lets us review your university application so that you can continue planning for your future.
When can I expect an admission decision?
It depends on the program you applied to. If it is for a competitive program, you may not find out until May. If you are applying to a less competitive undergraduate program and if we have all of the required information, you will usually hear from us shortly.
How can I check my application status?
We are currently working on an applicant portal and will have more to share in the future.
How will I be notified?
Important updates regarding your admission status will be sent to the email address we have on file.
When can I apply?
This varies by program, but we typically open applications about 11 months in advance of the term start date.
