A new perspective on health
Public health is the science and art of protecting the safety and improving the health and wellbeing of people and their communities through organized efforts of society. This includes education, promoting healthy lifestyles, policy making and researching disease and injury protection.
The Department of Public Health at Concordia University of Edmonton works to develop and support the professional careers of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
