COVID-19 Update and Reminders: Keeping our community safe in 2021

Posted on: Jan 5, 2021

On November 25, 2020, Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) issued a directive for students and staff to avoid visiting campus for non-essential reasons. (Please note that attending classes is safe and considered essential, as we have numerous protocols in place to protect our community.)

On December 8, 2020, the Government of Alberta announced a number of provincewide restrictions and public health measures that are currently in place until at least January 12, 2021

Please continue to avoid campus for non-essential reasons. All on-campus meetings and events are to be moved to a virtual format, and all employees who can conceivably work from home are to do so. The library and other services are currently closed but virtual services remain available.

For those coming to campus for essential reasons, please ensure you are familiar, and in compliance with, our protocols for on-campus attendance. Your presence on campus implies an understanding and acceptance of each condition.

More information is available here. We also have specific pages with information and resources for new students, current students, international students, and employees

We are all responsible for the health and safety of our community. Please continue to follow all public health guidelines and recommendations to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
