Working For Reconciliation in the Middle East, with Dr. Salim Munayer
Posted on: Nov 16, 2014
Tuesday, November 18 – 3:30 p.m. in the Tegler Student Centre
Concordia University College of Alberta is privileged to host Dr. Salim Munayer, speaking on the topic: ‘Who Owns the Land: Israel/Palestine, Working for Reconciliation in the Middle East.’
Dr. Munayer works to reconcile conflicts between Israelis and Palestinians, and between Christians, Jews, and Muslims. A major theme of his work is to address conflicting claims of land ownership and the issues of Zionism and Christian Zionism.
This event is co-sponsored by Concordia’s School of Theology, the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute, and the Ronning Centre for the Study of Religion and Public Life.
