Announcing CUE’s 2020 Honorary Degree recipient

We are thrilled to announce our 2020 Honorary Degree recipient… Ms. Jan Reimer.
Jan Reimer is the first (and only) female mayor of the City of Edmonton. Having served as city councillor for nine years, she was elected Mayor in 1989 and served for two terms, generating considerable improvements and changes to our community. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters and has been presented with many honours and awards for her passion for service to her community. She is truly an inspiring leader.
