You’re Invited: Innovation Launchpad Showcase
Posted on: Mar 18, 2021An Innovation Sprint
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we learn, teach, interact, and share information. To best support our CUE community and foster a sense of entrepreneurship, we modified our annual Innovation Launchpad @ CUE program to an Innovation Sprint focused on introducing the participants with tools and techniques to develop ideas, prototype solutions, conduct end-user testing and interviews.
Celebrate Our “Studentpreneurs”
BMO-CIAR invites you to join us in celebrating the achievements of innovative CUE student leaders, or “studentpreneurs”, who despite their full course loads and other commitments worked hard to advance their ideas. Each of them excelled in the workshop-based milestones and are now confident of their path forward.
When: Friday, March 26, 2021, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm
Where: Register here. (We will send you a Google meet link a few hours before the showcase starts.)
What To Expect
The participants will have 5 minutes to present their ideas and win a variety of prizes including cash, tuition credits, CUE bookstore gift cards, Innovation Launchpad swag, Startup Edmonton swag, and registration to Alberta’s largest innovation conference – Inventure$. Judges for this year’s showcase include:
1. Irshad Shariff, Founder Craft Tapp and CUE Alumnus
2. Eden Redman, Co-Founder, RemBRAINdt
3. Jessica Doody, Lead Program Manager, Startup Edmonton
Our Sponsors
We would like to thank our sponsors who have contributed over $10,000 in prizes this year. Sponsors include Alberta Innovates, CUE Connects grant, CUE Alumni Association, and Startup Edmonton.
