Welcome to Concordia, Dr. Thea Comeau!

Thea Comeau studies the ways people thrive after experiencing traumatic circumstances, and looks forward to bringing this knowledge with her to Concordia University of Edmonton. She came to this area of study after completing her education at Dalhousie University (B.A. Hons, 2007), University of Alberta (M.Ed. 2009), and McGill University (Ph.D. 2021).
She is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta, and enjoys the dance between both roles, clinician and educator. After teaching as a sessional at Concordia since 2017, Thea is excited to officially join the Concordia family. She is eager to support students in understanding what makes them thrive, both within their education and beyond.
