Queen Elizabeth Scholars Program Call for Proposals

"The Queen Elizabeth Scholars is a new initiative intended to lay the foundation for the next generation of entrepreneurs, public servants, community leaders and academics with innovative minds and a sense of commitment to Canada and the Commonwealth. Canadian universities are invited to submit multi-year project proposals seeking funding of up to $500,000 CAD for projects of up to four years."
Funding is open to doctoral researchers, post-doctoral fellows and early career researchers in Canada who are developing solutions to national and global challenges in the areas of: Agriculture and Food Security; Climate Change; Employment and Growth; Food, Environment, and Health; Foundations for Innovation; Governance and Justice; Maternal and Child Health; and Networked Economies.
Proposal deadline is November 25, 2016
