First Year Learning Communities

FLCs is designed to help new students transition smoothly into university life. Split into faculty groups (Arts, Management and Science) and led by peer mentors and faculty advisors, FLCs gives first-years the opportunity to build a social and academic support system.

As a member of a FLCs group, our mentors will provide you guidance in areas that include writing, study and time management skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend various FLCs events throughout the year.
