Canadian Society for Chemistry Certificates

Posted on: Dec 3, 2021

The 4-year Bachelor of Science in chemistry is Canadian Society for Chemistry accredited. We obtained provisional accreditation in 2016 and full accreditation in 2017.  The Faculty of Science is happy to report that we are in receipt of certificates for our 2016 to the 2021 graduating classes. Each graduating student will receive a certificate and a letter of congratulations which reads in part;

“On behalf of the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), we join your families and respected Professors in congratulating you for successfully completing the requirements for graduation from the Concordia University of Edmonton This is a high achievement for which you should take much pride. Not only have you joined the ranks of alumni from your respected University, but you can also include yourself among those who have successfully completed a chemistry program accredited by the CSC. Your accreditation by the CSC guarantees that your BSc in Chemistry from the Concordia University of Edmonton has met the high standards that the CSC expects from a chemistry program. CSC accreditation ensures that your degree will be recognized among the other accredited programs across Canada and the world.”

Congratulations to all the students who received certification.  The certificates and letters will be sent out to all graduates early next week.
