Congratulations Class of 2015
Posted on: May 8, 2015A Message from Dr. Gerald Krispin, President
This day of your convocation is a wonderful day for celebration, but also for a bit of contemplation. Today marks the boundary that separates your student life from life after graduation: the student life which lives in the domain of aspiration, of hopes, and of dreams from your post-graduation life in which seek the realization of those dreams, and the fulfillment of your hopes and aspirations. On a day like today, there is some looking back, but also much looking forward.
I hope you will continue to do both in the years to come. Because, as you look back to this university from which you graduated, I know you will see a Concordia whose reputation as one of the best universities in Canada is growing; because as you look back, you will see international recognition for your degree; you will see a university that continues to make a difference, because (and this is looking forward) you will make a difference, no matter where you are. You have been given much with your education here, and you can accomplish much.
So as you graduates leave us, I hope that you will always carry with you fond memories of the Concordia that you knew, just as we will continue to have fond memories of you wherever you may go. Please do stay in touch!
On behalf of all of us at Concordia, I extend to you, our graduates, my warmest congratulations and best wishes in this, the 94th academic year in which Concordia has operated under the motto, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."
