A vulnerability has been recently discovered in Microsoft Word that has the ability to bypass our endpoint protection software. Microsoft is aware of the issue, but has not released a timeline for a fix.

IT Services would like to remind you to be mindful of any Microsoft Word document or any attachment you receive from unusual or unexpected sources. Do not open any Word documents from recipients that you did not expect. If you are suspicious of an attachment, contact the sender for more information. If in doubt, please forward the attachment to to the IT Services Helpdesk at helpdesk@concordia.ab.ca for assistance.
