The Faculty of Management is pleased to welcome Dr. George Danso as Assistant Professor.
George received his PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Alberta with a specialization in resource economics and marketing. His PhD thesis focused on optimal resource allocation in Canada and Africa. After his PhD program, he worked with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) on multiple projects in Africa and Asia.
George was most recently a Senior Economist with the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Health, in the Health Forecasting Team, with a key focus on human resource planning and physician budget allocation. In addition, George has taught with Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) as a sessional since 2017.
