Welcome to Concordia, Natasha Pentyliuk!

Posted on: Aug 2, 2022
Please join us in welcoming Natasha as a Laboratory Instructor, Biology, for the Faculty of Science.

Natasha takes an interdisciplinary approach to research, collaboration, and teaching, with the goal of engaging with the public, government, and industry to work towards more sustainable communities. After completing a degree in marine biology with a minor in psychology at Dalhousie University, Natasha gained experience in scientific outreach, education, and research. Her Masters in Ecology was earned at the University of Alberta, where she took a social-ecological approach to studying the role community engagement plays in invasive species management.
Natasha is thrilled to join the Concordia team and looks forward to learning, sharing, and celebrating curiosity in lab with her students.

Natasha lets that same interdisciplinary curiosity guide her through the rest of her life, where she spends her free time working with her hands, volunteering for Search and Rescue, and sailing on Pigeon Lake where she lives on an off-grid wilderness conservation easement with her partner and chickens.
