Thunder Men’s Basketball Drop 2 to Kings

Following two tough losses this past weekend, the Thunder Men’s basketball team will host the sudden death play-in weekend. The Thunder will take on the GPRC Wolves and the winner will take on the winner of Lakeland and Medicine Hat. “It’s a tough position to be in,” said Coach Wood. “At least we are at home but we face a very talented GPRC team who will be hungry for a win. We have to come ready to compete for 40 minutes Friday night.”
The two winners this weekend will head to the ACAC Championships in Red Deer the following weekend with the winner on Saturday taking on the GMU Griffins and the loser playing the host RDC King’s in the first round. Game times are Friday the 21st @ 8 PM and on Saturday night at 6.
