Thunder Indoor Track Team Take Part in UofA Twilight Meet

A few of the members of the Thunder Indoor Track team took part in the UofA Twilight meet this past Friday night. Rachael Smillie finished 3rd overall, running a new personal best time and moving up to #2 on the all-time rankings. Lannie Houle finished 5th, also running a new personal best and moving into #6 all time for the 3000m. In the 300m, Mienna Starosielski broke her own 300m school record and finished in 3rd place overall. Haley Dunwoodie was 4th, also running a new personal best. On the men's side, Brad Agnew finished in 3rd and Jackson Murrell was 4th, both setting new personal bests for the distance. In the 1k, Ana Zulic was 6th, Baylee Frissell was 7th and Bailey Troccoli-Hughes finished in 8th spot. Zulic and Frissell ran new personal bests for the distance, moving them into the #3 and #4 spots all time for the distance. On the men's side, Mohammed Abdullahi finished in 20th in a new personal best, moving him into the #9 spot all time.
Next up for the Thunder Indoor teams will be the Trojan invitational in Calgary on Sunday.
