The Canadian Centre for Scholarship and the Christian Faith receives $40k grant
Posted on: Oct 4, 2016The Canadian Centre for Scholarship and the Christian Faith is pleased to announce that it has received another $40,000 grant from GH 1 Charity. The purpose of this grant is for CCSCF to continue its mission here at CUE over the next five years. In addition to this grant, FaithLife Financial continues to support the annual FaithLife Lecture series with a $3,000 grant per annum. CCSCF director, Dr Bill Anderson, says that “CCSCF will continue to provide unique interdisciplinary conferences every year and the Canadian Journal for Scholarship and the Christian Faith will continue to publish cutting edge research”. The 2017 conference will be on “500 Years of Reformation”, with eminent Luther scholar Dr Robert Kolb as keynote. Student grants are available to pay the full cost of this conference—so please let your students know! Upcoming conferences will be “Indigenous People and the Christian Faith” (2018), “Technology and the Christian Faith” (2019) and “The Bible” (2020).
