Posted on: Mar 2, 2020

The Office of Research Services is pleased to announce the SSHRC Explore Grants April 2020 competition. This is expected to be the last competition for the current funding. CUE will seek to renew this award in the future, when available.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the SIG-Exchange stream is suspended until further notice.

The ORS is working under limited service conditions and is unable to assist applicants in formatting applications to meet the guidelines.

This funding opportunity is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) through its SSHRC Institutional Grants (SIG) program and is administered by Concordia University of Edmonton.

SSHRC Explore and Exchange Grants are intended to strengthen research excellence in the social sciences and humanities.

Successful applicants in the Explore stream are expected to apply for SSHRC funding under the Insight or Insight Development program in the near future.

SSHRC-SIG Explore and Exchange Grants are sponsored by SSHRC through an institutional grant. CUE receives additional funding from the Tri-Agency via the Research Support Fund (RSF). For further information on the RSF, please visit our website.
