*Value: $1,000 – $5,000
Scholarships for refugees and members of Emerging Communities* who are attending post-secondary in the greater Edmonton area. Priority will be given to Alberta residents living in the greater Edmonton area who show evidence of financial need, positive community involvement, including volunteerism and demonstrate commitment to their education.
*Emerging Community: A group of people who are immigrants, refugees, or part of a family that includes immigrants or refugees from a particular cultural, national, or ethnic background where a significant number of the members of that community face barriers to full participation in education and employment.
