A gold medal presented on behalf of and in the name of the Governor General of Canada to the student who achieves the highest academic standing at the graduate level.
Eligibility:
- Must complete all the requirements of the master’s degree program or doctoral degree program by the convocation date of the year the student is being nominated.
- May be a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident, or an international student.
- Demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum graduating GPA of 3.67.
The selection for the GG Gold Academic Medal is the responsibility of the Scholarship and Awards Committee.
