Explore how trauma and stigma can impact clients’ health and well-being, as well as access to health and social services. Learn about the principles of trauma- and violence-informed care (TVIC) and learn to challenge the stigma associated with sexuality in your own practice. You’ll gain practical tools and skills to develop safer and more inclusive services.

Deepen your understanding of the differences between sex, gender, and sexual orientation, and discuss the impacts of homophobia, biphobia, transphobia on LGBTQ2S+ individuals.
