NSERC Discovery Grants and Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA)

The Office of Research Services at CUE would like to extend an invitation to eligible Faculty in the Natural Sciences and Engineering, to participate in the NSERC Discovery Grant program.
 
The Discovery Grants program is a major part of the commitment from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and provides funding for investigations in these fields. In some cases, research containing up to 25% as a health research component are eligible. Typical NSERC awards are around $30,000/Yr for Early Career Researchers, and $40,000/Yr for Established Researchers.
 
In addition to the funding from the Discovery Grant, the research group of the award recipient also becomes eligible for NSERC Studentships and Fellowships, which can be used to recruit and cover the stipends of students and postdoctoral fellows to work on your projects.
