About the Panel


Samhitha Keshireddy

I’m Samhitha Keshireddy working at SecureOps as a Network Security Analyst, providing SOC operations to both Canada and USA Clients. I hold CompTIA Security+ and CYSA+ certifications and a master’s degree from the Concordia University of Edmonton with a major in Information systems and security management. While at the University contributed to research work for a blockchain technology book named Auditors Guide to Blockchain Technology. Currently working towards other industrial certifications that would help for career growth and opportunities. Passionate about solving problems efficiently and implementing innovative solutions to maximize resources using the latest security products, tools, and cutting-edge technology. An ardent lover of building the security community and getting more people into cybersecurity!

Nickkisha Farrell-Myles

Nickkisha Farrell-Myles is a Technology Professional and Consultant living and working in Edmonton Alberta. With over fifteen (15) years of experience in Information Technology, she currently focuses on Cybersecurity. Her experience spans the domains of security architecture, governance, risk, and compliance while working in public and private sectors including Fortune 500 companies. Nickki has a background in pedagogy and has helped develop several ICT and cybersecurity courses in the Caribbean and Canada. She describes herself as a lifelong questioner and loves learning. When she isn’t strategizing on how to do Cyber better, Nickki loves connecting with and serving in her community, listening to podcasts, or reading a good book, she’s usually reading at least two at the same time.

With 8 years of information security expertise, I specialize in endpoint security, data protection, and compliance assessment. Currently, I’m a second-year graduate student in the MISSM program and work as a security research graduate at Treefort Technologies.Thanks to MITACS funding, we’re expanding this work to research and support compliance efforts for small and medium-sized businesses. Additionally, I volunteer with security organizations like WiCYS Western Canada Affiliate, ISACA, and ISC2.
