March is Fraud Prevention Month in Canada

Fraud Prevention Month is a campaign held each March to inform and educate the public on the importance of protecting yourself from being a victim of fraud.   Losses reported to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre doubled in 2021 and reached an all-time high of $379 million.  This year’s theme will focus on impersonation scams and you can follow weekly topics on social media.
