Student ID Card
Your student ID card is your library card.
Use your student ID card to:
- Borrow library books
- Place holds and interlibrary loans
- Print and scan
- You receive a $10 printing credit automatically added to your student ID each semester.
- Register for a free L-Pass
To create your student ID card, you first need to upload your photo to Online Services.
- Visit Online Services for Students > My Account > Personal Information.
- Login with your CUE email and password.
- Scroll down to “Student ID Photo” and click “Edit“.
- Select your photo to upload (make sure to follow the photo requirements).
- Check the consent box.
- Click “Save“.
“Once your photo has been reviewed by the Registrar’s Office, you will receive an email stating if it has been approved. The approval process may take up to 2 business days.”

- The photo must be taken in the last 6 months
- Eyeware that obscures or tints your eyes must NOT be worn
- Show only your head, face, and shoulders against a neutral background
- Directly face the camera
- Natural expressions/smiles welcome
- The photo must be in colour
- Do not have other objects or people in the photo
- No filters
- JPEG, JPG, or PNG files are accepted
- Photo file size must be under 10MB
