Invitation to the Moose Hide Campaign Day

Posted on: Dec 16, 2021

Dear CUE Community,

The Moose Hide Campaign Development Society has invited all members of our campus community to the 11thannual Moose Hide Campaign Day on February 10, 2022.  This is a live-streamed event that includes traditional ceremonies, inspirational messages from guest speakers, and online interactive workshops that are adaptive to prospective time zones.

Violence towards women cuts across all sectors of our society, with recent well-publicized incidents sadly reminding us that it remains prevalent on many post-secondary campuses. Sexual assault on school, college, and university campuses is one of the most often reported types of violence, with nearly half of all sexual assaults committed against women aged 15 to 24. Join this event, along with post-secondary institutions across Canada, as we come together online for a day of inspiration, ceremony, and fasting.

Moose Hide Campaign Day will be a gathering for conversation and collective action on the growing levels of domestic and gender-based violence. Register now to participate! It’s free and you’ll receive the latest updates, early access to the event site and workshops.

Please consider joining me at this important annual event.
