Introducing People & Culture at CUE
Posted on: Jul 25, 2022Dear colleagues,
I’m very happy to announce that effective immediately CUE’s Human Resources department is now called People & Culture. We have been assessing the future needs of CUE and how we can best support the community. The People & Culture name reflects a purposeful shift at CUE to increase our focus on supporting people and their experiences, and on developing and nurturing our culture.
As the President’s communication last week highlighted, we have developed a robust Employee Engagement Strategy as part of our shared efforts to reconnect the community. In addition to working closely with departments and employees to manage procedural and administrative requirements across CUE, People & Culture will lead a number of initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture in the coming months. Our team looks forward to enhancing your experience working at CUE.
Allow me to re-introduce you to the People & Culture team.
- Chelsea VandenBoogaard: People & Culture Assistant
- Hannane Drissennek: People & Culture Advisor (Academic areas / External & International Relations)
- Elisabeth Boehme: People & Culture Advisor (Finance & Operations / Student Life & Learning)
- Kym Yermekbayeva: Senior People & Culture Advisor (beginning maternity leave in August)
- Ilse Thibodeau: People & Culture Project Specialist
- Chris McCahey: Senior Pay and Benefits Advisor
In addition, an Organizational Development Consultant will be joining us to work on a number of the initiatives included in the Employee Engagement Strategy.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions regarding this change. Our team looks forward to continuing to support and partner with you!
Warm regards,
Shauna Yohemas
