The Concordia Symphony Orchestra is comprised of top amateur and semi-professional instrumentalists who rehearse weekly on Wednesdays.  Conducted by David Hoyt, and managed by Dr. Joy Berg, the Symphony presents a three-concert season each year, regularly featuring local soloists. Although mainly comprised of members of the community, students can enroll in the Symphony for credit. The Symphony is an auditioned ensemble. To schedule an audition, please contact Dr. Joy Berg at joy.berg@concordia.ab.ca or at (780)479-9368.

Students enrolled in Wind Ensemble for credit participate in one of the bands of Festival City Winds, directed by Wendy Grasdahl. Three levels of bands provide appropriate opportunities for novice, intermediate, and advanced players. To arrange an audition, please contact Wendy Grasdahl at conductor@wgrasdahl.ca.
