Faculty of Science Welcomes Dr. Apoorva Chauhan

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Apoorva Chauhan to the Faculty of Science and the Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences (Information Technology Program) as an Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2021.
Dr. Chauhan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science at University of Waterloo, Canada. She received a Master’s and PhD degree in Computer Science from Utah State University (USU), USA. Her research excellence has been recognized at USU with three prestigious awards: Outstanding Graduate Researcher in the Computer Science Department (2018), Doctoral Researcher of the Year in the USU College of Engineering (2018), and Outstanding Graduate Scholar in the USU College of Engineering (2018). Dr. Chauhan’s research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Crisis Informatics, and Education Research.
