Naloxone Training (Virtual)

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Canada has seen a dramatic increase in opioid-related toxicity deaths. The FentaNIL project is a student run group across Western Canada that aims to mitigate the effects of the opioid crisis by raising awareness through education, and by training others to use intermuscular naloxone. At this training session you can expect to learn about the opioid crisis in Canada, what harm reduction is and how it works, what opioids are, and how to properly respond to an opioid overdose.

This training is free and open to the entire CUE community.
