A Choral Mosaic: Concordia Community Concert

This concert of folk songs and hymns features award-winning Canadian vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Lizzy Hoyt. Since Lizzy’s music is rooted in Celtic and folk traditions, the Chorus will be complementing her selections with favourites such as “O Danny Boy,” “She’s Like the Swallow,” and “It Is Well.” Lizzy will also be sharing some of her original songs which tell stories of home, war, immigration, and love.
Admission is free for Concordia students, Faculty and staff. Tickets are $15 for Adults and $12 for Students and Seniors, and are available at Tix on the Square (tixonthesquare.ca or 780.420.1757), Concordia Student Accounts, or at the door. Special Family Admission: $40 (available at the door only).
