CUE Signs 1+3 Articulation Agreement with BFSU

CUE’s President and Vice Chancellor Dr. Tim Loreman visited Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), Beijing on October 30, 2019.  An Articulation Agreement on 1+3 Foundation Program between CUE and BFSU were signed.

Under the 1+3 Foundation Program, BFSU will provide one-year package courses, with course content designed by BFSU faculty, for students who will go to CUE for study.  The package courses include both business courses and the intensive English courses.  Upon satisfactory completion of the one-year study at BFSU, students who meet the entry requirements of CUE will transfer to CUE for a bachelor degree program. Areas of emphases in this program include Accounting , Conflict Management, Data Management, Finance, Human Resources, Leadership, and Marketing. Students who transfer to CUE will receive a Bachelor of Management Degree from CUE.

BFSU is CUE’s active international partner in Beijing, China.  A 1+2+1 Dual Degrees Program on Management was implemented in fall 2018 and was followed by strong student interest.  The first group of 1+2+1 Dual Degrees Program students is expected to finish their 1st year at CUE and start their 2nd year at BFSU, Beijing from 2019 fall semester.
