President’s Address to Graduands

Themes of belonging and community building formed President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Tim Loreman’s address to graduands, encouraging the class of 2023 to be a part of something bigger

I challenge you to consider what it means to be a community builder. What does it mean to be a part of something bigger than yourself? How will you use your voice to influence others? What kind of leadership do you want to define you?

Photography

During the Convocation ceremony, a professional photograph was taken of each graduate with the Vice-President Academic & Provost and the Dean of their faculty, and then with the Chancellor on the platform. We make these photos available for download, at no charge, so that your friends and family don’t have to worry about getting the perfect shot of this momentous occasion.

CUE’s photographer also captured candid photos of the graduates and of the celebration. Check out a few of our favourites and access the full gallery in the link below.

Thank You Chancellor Stephen Mandel

Chancellor Stephen Mandel’s leadership and dedication to public service has been invaluable to Alberta, and he continued that legacy at CUE by helping to set a strong foundation for the future growth and success of our university.

We are thankful for Chancellor Mandel’s spirit of collaboration towards improving the university. Although Chancellor Mandell will complete his term as chancellor this year, the legacy of Stephen’s contributions will be felt for years to come.
