Concordia Welcomes New Assistant Professor of Music
Posted on: Mar 23, 2018The Faculty of Arts congratulates Jolaine Kerley, recently appointed as our newest full-time faculty member, beginning 1 July 2018. Many Concordians already know Professor Kerley, who as an adjunct has trained many fine voice musicians through our music program. Now as an Assistant Professor of Music she will have an even greater opportunity to make a valuable contribution to that program and its students. Professor Kerley has earned two M.Mus degrees, one from the University of Alberta and one from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. In addition to her exemplary teaching at Concordia, she is a well-known soprano in the Edmonton area with numerous performances to her credit, both locally and as far away as Carnegie Hall.
