Building Blatchford: A Leading Sustainable Community in the Heart of Edmonton

The City of Edmonton is transforming 536 acres of centrally located land into one of North America’s most sustainable communities. Blatchford will be home to up to 30,000 Edmontonians living, working and learning in a neighbourhood that uses 100% renewable energy, is carbon neutral, significantly reduces its ecological footprint, and empowers residents to pursue a range of sustainable lifestyle choices.

Learn more about this leading-edge community and the development of a new utility that uses an innovative district energy sharing system and renewable energy sources including geo-exchange, sewer heat exchange and solar. For more information, please visit us at: Blatchford.ca and BlatchfordUtility.ca or email.
