The annual Michael Melancon-Koffend Award will go to 13 young Indigenous women, Two-Spirit, or gender-diverse students from each province and territory. Recipients must demonstrate financial need. Priority will be given to students committed to improving the situation of Indigenous women and gender diverse peoples in Canada politically, culturally, economically or otherwise.
