Concordia hosts 2017 National Model United Nations Conference

The 2017 National Model United Nations Conference•Canada will be held in partnership with Concordia University of Edmonton. Cultural tours and several committee topics will focus on issues related to indigenous people and the environment. This focus recognizes not only the majestic conference setting of Banff National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site, but also the recent Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Final Report. Concordia’s Kelsea Gillespie will be Secretary General at the conference as our team joins with other university students to discuss global issues and celebrate the sesquicentennial: Happy 150th Birthday Canada – the true north strong and free!
