Alberta Post-Secondaries Offering Smart Opportunities in Artificial Intelligence

Posted on: Dec 1, 2020

Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) is proud to be part of the AI Pathways Partnership (AIPP)—a consortium of post-secondaries from across Alberta coming together to advance artificial intelligence and machine learning, cultivate excellence, and provide opportunities for Albertans to thrive in the global digital economy.

“Our collective success relies on the diversification of our economy,” says Dr. Manfred Zeuch, Vice President, External Affairs and International Relations at CUE. “The AI Pathways Partnership provides an opportunity for Albertans to build skills and advance the application of artificial intelligence across industries. We are proud to be part of this consortium and look forward to connecting with students and partners across the province.”

The AIPP is comprised of CUE, NorQuest College, Athabasca University, and Bow Valley College, in collaboration with the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute and made possible through funding provided by Western Economic Diversification Canada. Programs will begin in 2021.
