CUE’s Commitment for the Activation of the Okanagan Charter – Feedback Forum

Posted on: Jul 12, 2018

The Okanagan Charter, an International Charter for Health Promoting University and Colleges, is to promote wellness and healthy activity on campus.

CUE wants all of its students, faculty and staff to flourish, and to that end, demonstrates commitments to wellness.

This discussion site is for feedback on Concordia University of Edmonton’s Commitments for the Activation of the Okanagan Charter.  The discussion site can be found here.  The document can be found here.  The advantages of this online discussion format are that there will be a written record of the conversation, and people can respond to the comments and ideas of others.  Feedback on this site are public.  If you do not wish to provide feedback on this site, you can email your thoughts to Dr. Barb vanIngen.

The steps for adopting the Okanagan Charter include CUE signing a “Statement of Adoption” and submission of campus-specific commitments for the activation of the Okanagan Charter.  Both are submitted to the Canadian Health Promoting Campus Network Chair for review.

The deadline for feedback is August 16, 2018.

Feedback received may be incorporated in this document, with the goal to submit it by September.
