What is a bursary?

Posted on: Sep 7, 2023

A bursary is non-repayable financial assistance awarded to students on the basis of financial need.  While students are expected to make plans for funding their education through primary sources such as personal and family savings, scholarships and awards, employment earnings, student loans, etc., students experiencing financial difficulties while attending Concordia may apply for a Concordia Bursary to supplement their existing funds.  The online application is now open and the fall term deadline is October 15th.   All students (domestic and international) at the undergraduate or graduate level are eligible to apply.
