Thunder Men’s Volleyball Go Five Sets in Pre-Season Action

The Thunder Men's Volleyball team pushed their opponents to a 5-set showdown in their final pre-season home game. On Friday night at the Ralph King Athletic Centre, the Thunder played host to ACAC rivals the Lakeland Rustlers in a highly entertaining 5 game match. The two teams traded sets with the Rustlers coming out on top in the end, 3-2. Set scores were 25-21, 15-25, 25-18, 22-25 and 15-4. New Head Coach Shamus Dowler commented postgame: "We played all 13 players during a 5 set loss vs Lakeland, gathering great insight into what we will see in our league matches against them."
The Thunder will now prepare for the road trip of the year when they journey to Winnipeg to compete in a tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend.
