Thunder Men’s Volleyball Fall to Third Place Wolves

The Concordia Men's Volleyball team headed up to Grande Prairie this past weekend for a pair of matches against the GPRC Wolves. The powerful Wolves are in a three-way tie for third place in the tight ACAC North Division. On Friday night, the Thunder had a respectable outing, pushing the Wolves to extra points in the second set and winning the third set outright before succumbing to the Wolves in the fourth (25-16, 26-24, 22-25 and 25-14).
On Saturday afternoon, the Thunder had a much rougher ride from the hometown Wolves, going down in straight sets 25-16, 25-12 and 25-13.
Unfortunately, things won't get any easier for the Thunder as they will face the first place Augustana Vikings in the Fall semester finale. The home match goes Friday night, November 21st at 8 PM at the Ralph King Athletic Centre.
