Thunder Men’s Volleyball Drop Two to Undefeated Keyano Huskies

In their final weekend of first semester play, the Men's Volleyball team matched up against the first place, undefeated Keyano College Huskies. The first match of the home double header on Friday night was a hard fought battle with the Thunder losing two of the three sets in extra points (27-25, 39-37 and 25-22) but it was an excellent match. The guys showed huge progress in pushing the premier team in the league to the brink in all three sets. Keenan Forstey was named Player of the Game on Friday.
"Unfortunately we didn't comeback with the same effort on Saturday," lamented Head Coach Lucas Jacobson. "We struggled as a group in all aspects of the game Saturday. Although the guys worked hard we just didn't have it Saturday and dropped another 3-0 decision. We go into Xmas on a bit of a losing streak but we are all motivated to work hard through our break and make a big playoff run in the second semester."
