The Thunder Hockey boys had another character building win this past weekend.  After letting a 3 to 1 lead slip away from them on Friday, when the first place SAIT Trojans came storming back with four goals in a 4 minute time span of the third period, the Thunder responded on Saturday night with a hard fought 3 to 1 victory.  Turning the tables on the Trojans when it was all them in the third period of Friday's game, the Thunder scored a couple of goals early in the third period on Saturday, then had to hold SAIT's league-leading power play at bay for a lengthy stretch of time midway through the period before finally sealing the deal with an empty net goal.
The Thunder will now have an all-home weekend when they host the Briercrest Clippers.  Game times are Friday, the 15th at 8:15 PM and Saturday afternoon at 4:30 PM at Glengarry Arena.
